What are the Lottery cash prizes?

The Flight for Life Lottery gives you the chance to win one of these cash prizes each week:

£1,000 top prize

£250 second prize

£100 third prize

4 x £25 prizes

50 prizes of £10

How does the SuperDraw work?

When you join the Flight for Life Superdraw you are allocated an exclusive combination of four lucky numbers between 1-45 – these are different to your Lottery numbers which are 6 digits. A separate jackpot draw is made for the Superdraw and the weekly prize is based on a percentage of Superdraw members. If no member makes a complete match with all four numbers, the jackpot prize will roll over to the next draw of that specific lottery.

The jackpot prize will continue to roll over until it reaches £25,000, at which point multiple draws will be made in a single week until a complete match is selected. When this occurs one member will win £25,000!

Can I just play the Lottery?

Yes, you can just choose to just play the Flight for Life Lottery without the Superdraw for £1 a week.

Laura, John, Phoebe and Aidan Lew

You could be a lottery winner like Laura!

‘Flight for Life’ lottery winner, Laura Lew, had a double reason to celebrate, when she won nearly £5,000 in the charity’s Superdraw and gave birth in the same week.

Laura said: “I had two wins in one week, EHAAT’s Superdraw of £4,927 and Aidan being born at the local hospital that is regularly served by the air ambulance. The win has really helped us as a family, and I couldn’t think of a more worthy charity to support.”

Meet a Superdraw Winner

Paul Reynolds, Sawbridgeworth

Sixty-year-old Mr Reynolds has supported EHAAT for a number of years and said:

“I was delighted to receive the phone call from Carmel Hudson, EHAAT’s Lottery Manager, to tell me I had won. I didn’t expect the call and didn’t believe her in the beginning. After what has been a challenging couple of years, this unexpected windfall means that we now have the opportunity to support our girls, Alice and Eleanor. In addition, we purchased a motorhome recently that needs some refurbishment. So my wife Tracey and I are looking forward to spending time away in it over the next few months.”

David Franklin (Pre-Hospital Care Doctor) and Chris Eagle (Critical Care Paramedic) were pleased to meet Mr Reynolds and his daughter Alice when they visited our North Weald Airbase to pick up the winning cheque from Pam Withrington, Fundraising & Marketing Director. David and Chris proudly showed them around the helicopter and the new state-of-the-art airbase. Mr Reynolds, an ex-paramedic himself, was fascinated with the facilities.

Mr Reynolds continued: “Seeing how technology has changed over recent years was really interesting, and being shown this first-hand was a real honour. I will definitely spread the word about the work that is carried out by the crew in bringing the hospital to the patient. I am really motivated to help them in any way I can.”
