With nine charity shops located throughout Essex and Hertfordshire, we offer a wide range of pre-loved items, from clothing to antiques, accessories, homeware, games, toys and books. Our Donation Centre offers a quick and easy way to drop off your pre-loved items. With easy access you can pull up and drop off hassle free. Our friendly team are on hand to support you with your items so that you can be on your way in no time at all.

Free Collection Service

We currently offer a free collection service for donations. In order to be eligible for this service, donations must be of at least ten bags/boxes. Furniture collections can also be arranged.

Please contact our Donation Centre on 01438 532037 to arrange your collection.

NB: We ask that all donations offered are in a resalable condition and boxed/bagged safely for transport. Furniture collections are subject to condition. Please call us to find out more.

 

Donations to our charity shops: Items we are unable to accept

Thank you for your ongoing support and donating to our charity shops. Unfortunately we are unable to accept the following items:

  • Alcohol
  • Baby car seats
  • Baby mattresses
  • Beds
  • Buoyancy aids, lifejackets inflatable dinghies (unless new and boxed)
  • Crash helmets
  • Crossbows
  • Cushions (without a fire label)
  • Disabled toilet aids
  • Duvets and old pillows
  • Fireworks
  • Furniture: beds, 3 piece suites or other large items of furniture
  • Gas appliances and oil lamps
  • Gas bottles/canisters, lighters and cigarette lighter refills
  • Guns, bullets (ammunition) and replicas guns (unless obviously toys)
  • Home recorded CDs videos and tapes
  • Knives, sharps, daggers, swords
  • Medication including vitamins
  • Perishable goods – food and drink
  • Pirate DVDs and CDs (copied\fake)
  • Riding hats
  • Safety harnesses (all types)
  • Soft toys without CE mark
  • Upholstered furniture (without a fire label)
  • White goods (fridges freezers cookers etc.)

Please do not leave donations outside our premises, as we will not be able to process them, and we may have to pay for them to be disposed of.
