Santa isn't the only one flying
With Christmas approaching, Essex & Herts Air Ambulance is thrilled to share our festive fundraising ideas.

As Santa takes to the skies, our crews are working tirelessly to help the critically ill and injured.
To achieve this, we rely on your support to maintain our free helicopter emergency medical service for the critically ill and injured of Essex, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. That’s why we’ve lined up a sleigh-load of ideas for people of all ages to enjoy while supporting your local life-saving charity. You can host your own festive Brew for the Crew, arrange a delightful mulled wine evening, organise mince pie coffee mornings, or spread the cheer with festive jumper fun.
Whether you’re at work, home or at school, Santa has some great fundraising ideas that you can share with family, friends and workmates…
Light up your home for your local life-saving charity
Whether your red-nosed Ruldoph is your favourite, or you’re in an unspoken Christmas lights war with the neighbours opposite, you can proudly display your decorations and host one of our collection tins to keep your local life-saving Charity operational.
Bake up some cheer for the Crew this Festive Season
Brew for the Crew, formerly known as A Very British Afternoon Tea or AVBAT, has been reimagined as a corporate fundraising initiative. By hosting your in-work Brew for the Crew, you’ll be doing your bit towards keeping your local air ambulance operational.
