This particular case is for an unconscious serious head injury that we suspect has an intracranial bleed. We provide a prehospital RSI followed by optimum care to prevent secondary brain injury and triage to a neuro-centre.
This was presented at Cambridge University for the PreHospital Care Programme at the monthly academic forum.
