Temporary closure of Burnham-on Crouch Charity shop
Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT) will be temporarily closing its Burnham-on-Crouch shop from July 16th for two weeks to allow essential repairs and decoration to take place.
Whilst the work is being done, the shop signage will be refreshed with the new yellow and red colours adopted by EHAAT last year in order to bring staff, volunteers and supporters across Essex & Hertfordshire closer together with a single, unambiguous identity.
Matt Seccombe, Head of Retail for EHAAT said: “Our shops are a key part of raising the £500,000 a month it takes to keep our life-saving service operational. We are grateful to everyone who donates items or shops with us, and ask the people of Burnham to be patient while these essential works are carried out.
“Once complete, they should ensure we can offer a more appealing shopping experience, meaning we can make the best use of donated goods, raising as much as possible from them.
“Whilst our shops are closed, we’d be grateful if anyone planning to donate items could keep them safely until we are open again. Please don’t leave them at these shop as we will be unable to take them while the work is going on.”
