Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT) announces the retirement of Pam Withrington, Fundraising & Marketing Director, following nearly two decades of dedicated service.
Pam has played an instrumental role in EHAAT’s evolution, helping to shape the charity from a small local organisation into the essential life-saving service it is today. Her leadership and passion have significantly contributed to the growth and sustainability of the charity’s operations, which now serve communities across Essex, Hertfordshire, and beyond.
Jonathan Trower, Chair of Trustees, praised Pam’s invaluable contribution, stating:
“On behalf of everyone at EHAAT, I would like to thank Pam for all her hard work and dedication during her time with us. The trust today is unrecognisable from the small charity she joined many years ago, and she should be immensely proud of her contribution to its growth and development. We wish her all the very best for the future.”
Reflecting on her time at EHAAT, Pam Withrington shared:
“With nearly 20 years working in one capacity or another at EHAAT, I am extremely proud to have been part of this charity’s amazing journey. Needless to say, I’ve loved every minute of it. I wish EHAAT and the entire team continued success, and I know that with the many exciting opportunities ahead, the charity will achieve even more. Most importantly, these successes will enable our teams to continue their vital, life-saving work across Essex, Hertfordshire, and beyond.”
Jane Gurney, Chief Executive Officer of EHAAT, added:
“Pam has been an integral part of the executive team during her time with EHAAT, and I have very much enjoyed working with her. She brought drive, passion, and vision to the role, and her presence will be greatly missed.”
We look forward to welcoming our new Fundraising & Marketing Director in the New Year who will build on Pam’s legacy. EHAAT remains committed to advancing its life-saving mission and continuing the growth that Pam helped foster over the years.
Pam’s departure marks the end of an extraordinary chapter for EHAAT. The entire organisation is deeply grateful for her contributions and wishes her every happiness in the future. Read more about Pam’s story.
