NFU Mutual Hertford & North Herts Agency Backs EHAAT’s CPR Smart Programme for a Second Year Running

NFU Mutual’s Hertford & North Herts Agency has once again demonstrated its commitment to their local community by choosing to support Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust’s (EHAAT) CPR Smart programme for the second consecutive year.

Through the NFU Mutual Agency Giving Fund, the Agency put forward a nomination for £7,899 to be donated to the CPR Smart programme – matching last year’s contribution and doubling its commitment to the programme, and supporting educate the next generation of life-savers.

EHAAT’s CPR Smart initiative is designed to ensure that every young person in Essex and Hertfordshire leaves school equipped with the knowledge and confidence to perform CPR and use a defibrillator.

By funding the programme for a second year, the NFU Mutual Hertford & North Herts Agency is helping EHAAT reach even more schools, teachers, and students – providing training resources, lesson plans, and equipment that make CPR education accessible and engaging.

With CPR Smart now into its second year, the partnership between NFU Mutual Hertford & North Herts Agency and EHAAT continues to grow stronger. The hope is that thousands more young people will gain the confidence to act in an emergency—turning knowledge into action, and action into lives saved.
