Mission: Critical – The Ultimate EHAAT Experience

EHAAT proudly hosted its very first Mission: Critical – the ultimate team-building experience – at our North Weald airbase on Wednesday 15th October.

Seven teams were tasked with seven dynamic, hands-on challenges designed to immerse participants in the world of emergency pre-hospital care. Tasks included a helicopter landing site challenge (complete with NVIS goggles), CPR training leading into a simulated cardiac arrest scenario, and the use of video technology to demonstrate the life-saving impact of the GOODSAM project. Participants also gained valuable insight into the vital work of our Patient & Family Liaison team, who provide crucial support beyond the emergency.

Before tackling the challenges, teams enjoyed networking time, a wood-fired pizza dinner, and the chance to capture a memorable team photo in the hangar alongside EHAAT’s AW169 aircraft.

In the lead-up to the event, each team received a fundraising bucket and set out to raise as much as possible for EHAAT. Team &element and NEXUS went above and beyond, raising over £205 and earning the title of Fundraising Champions.

Competition was fierce during the helicopter landing site challenge, where Stratstone Ferrari claimed victory by completing the task in just over 10 minutes!

As a brand-new corporate team-building event, Mission: Critical was a resounding success. We are incredibly grateful to our event sponsor, KJL Group, for their generous support – and for joining the action with their own team of six.

This event would not have been possible without the collaboration of EHAAT’s clinical, operational, and charity teams. Mission: Critical represents the very best of teamwork, innovation, and community spirit.
