Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT) is thrilled to announce the launch of Mission: Critical – the ultimate team-based challenge event designed to educate corporate partners, whilst testing communication, leadership, and problem-solving under pressure, all while raising vital funds to support the charity’s life-saving work.

Set to take place at the charity’s North Weald airbase, near Harlow, Mission: Critical is a dynamic experience that places teams in high-pressure scenarios inspired by the real-life situations faced by EHAAT’s critical care crews. Teams will work together to complete tasks that mirror the challenges and split-second decisions made by paramedics and pilots every day.

In an exciting development, KJL Group, a leading provider of IT support and solutions across the UK, has been named the official sponsor of Mission: Critical. Their commitment to innovation, collaboration, and community impact makes them an ideal partner for this cutting-edge event.

Kevin James – Managing Director of KJL Group, based in Basildon, said “We are incredibly proud to support Essex & Herts Air Ambulance and the Mission: Critical event. As a technology-driven company, we understand the importance of quick thinking, teamwork, and robust support systems – values that align perfectly with the work EHAAT does every single day.”

“Mission: Critical isn’t just a challenge – it’s an opportunity to be in the boots of our critical care teams, experience the intensity of emergency response, and understand the thought process that goes into every single mission – all whilst raising vital funds to keep our helicopters flying, and crews responding,” added Lyndsay Wood, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Essex & Herts Air Ambulance. “We are beyond grateful to KJL Group for their support in helping bring this experience to life.”

Registrations are now open for businesses who are ready to take on the challenge and make a difference – team entries are just £400 for a team of 6.

All proceeds from Mission: Critical go directly toward supporting EHAAT’s mission to provide free life-saving care to the people of Essex, Hertfordshire, and surrounding areas.
