DonateWomen are 27% less likely to receive CPR from a bystander than men. This International Women’s Day, we’re asking: why — and what can we do about it?
Our critical care paramedic and clinical community lead Adam joins Jenny, founder of Bra Off Defib On, for a frank conversation about the barriers that stop people helping women in cardiac arrest. From stigma around removing a bra and placing defibrillator pads, to training manikins that don’t reflect real bodies — the issues are fixable. Early CPR and defibrillation save lives, and normalising the conversation is where it starts.
