As we celebrate International Women’s Day this year, Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT) takes great pride in honouring the incredible women who are an integral part of our organisation. From our pre-hospital care doctors and paramedics to our executive team, trustees, fundraisers, volunteers, and supporters, we are privileged to have so many talented, proficient, and inspirational women impacting our charity and the communities we serve.

This year’s theme for International Women’s Day, #InspireInclusion, resonates deeply with us at EHAAT. We actively strive to encourage women to believe in themselves and ensure they feel valued as individuals.

At EHAAT, our mission is clear: to save lives across Essex and Hertfordshire by providing a free pre-hospital emergency medical service to those in need. And without the amazing commitment and passion of the women surrounding us, we wouldn’t be able to continually deliver the life-saving service we do.

From our critical care paramedics to our executive leadership, women play pivotal roles across every facet of our organisation. By showcasing their contributions and sharing their stories, we aim to inspire others.

As we celebrate International Women’s Day, let us continue to honour and empower the remarkable women who make a difference every day, both at EHAAT and beyond. Together, we can create a more equitable and inclusive future for all.

Our CEO Jane Gurney, shares what International Women’s Day means to her in this video:
