Calling all dog lovers! Heli-Hounds is back. On Sunday 8th June, your four-legged friends are invited to join us for a fun and friendly 5km charity dog walk in support of your local life-saving charity.
Kicking off at 9:00am from the EHAAT Fundraising Office, participants and their pooches will set off on a circular route around the beautiful Marks Hall Estate, complete with an optional refreshment stop at the estate’s Visitor Centre. There, walkers can purchase food and drinks to refuel, and dogs will be well looked after too, with fresh drinking water provided by EHAAT volunteers.
Tickets are just £12 per dog, and all registered hounds will receive a gift to collect at the start of the walk.
“We’re so excited to bring Heli-Hounds back to our supporters,” said Fran Gillott, Events Manager at Essex & Herts Air Ambulance. “It’s a wonderful day out for families and dog-lovers, and every wag, walk and woof help fund our critical care service – which is provided free of charge to those in need across Essex and Hertfordshire.”
Participants are also encouraged to raise sponsorship – whether it’s £10 or £100, every pound makes a difference and helps keep EHAAT’s helicopters flying and critical care teams on the road.
There will be free parking at the start line and breakfast rolls and hot drinks available during the welcome and social hour before the walk begins.
So grab your lead, lace up your walking boots, and join the Heli-Hounds pack to help save lives!
