On Sunday 8th June, tails were wagging and paws were pounding as 50 dogs and their humans joined us for Heli Hounds 2025, raising an amazing £5,000 for Essex & Herts Air Ambulance!
Taking place over a fresh summer morning, participants enjoyed a scenic 5km circular route around the outside of the beautiful Marks Hall Estate. With breakfast rolls and hot drinks to start the day, and plenty of wagging tails along the way, the atmosphere was full of joy, community spirit, and dog-loving energy.
From tiny terriers to excitable spaniels, every hound helped make it a special day — with new friendships formed, lots of smiles, and every step supporting our life-saving work.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part, volunteered, or donated. Events like Heli Hounds help keep our helicopters flying and our critical care teams responding when they’re needed most.
We can’t wait to see the pack again next year!
