The Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT) charity shop in Braintree is relaunching as discount shop with most items on sale for £1. It will reopen on April 17th after being closed during the recent lockdown.
Donna Lee, EHAAT’s Head of Retail, said: “Our Braintree shop has always been packed full of bargains, but we want to help supporters make their money go even further by offering a wide range of items, including clothes and shoes, priced at just £1.
“Our Braintree supporters will have the opportunity to pick up some real bargains such as out of season fashion items that haven’t been snapped up by customers in other shops.
“As we reopen after lockdown, we hope this will encourage even more people to support their local life-saving charity and save money at the same time. Although the focus will be on items costing £1, an area at the rear of the shop will continue to sell individually higher priced items of furniture and bric-a-brac. We are looking forward to welcoming the fantastic Braintree community to our new-look shop.”
Anyone who wants to donate items for sale which they believe which will fetch more than £1 can still hand these in at the Braintree shop as they can be sold in one of the charity’s other shops or via its eBay site…All donations are welcome…thank you!
EHAAT’s Braintree shop, located at 90 High Street, Braintree was officially opened in July 2019. Like the charity’s other shops, it has been closed for most of the last year since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. We can’t wait to re-open our doors and welcome our customers back!
