Beresfords Group held a staggeringly successful black tie ball for the Charity.

Beresfords hosted representatives from the Charity, including CEO Jane Gurney, Pre-hospital Care Consultant Ben Clarke, Clinical Manager Scott McIlwaine and guests of honour, David and Nicola Moon, whose infant daughter Maisie was airlifted by the Charity in 2012.

This is the second year that Beresfords have chosen to raise funds for Essex & Herts Air Ambulance. This year’s gala ball, a three course meal with ticketed entrance and a raffle, was held at Braxted Park. Last year’s event raised over £14,000 for the Air Ambulance, meaning that the total doubled at this year’s event.

Paul Beresford, chairman of Beresfords Group, said: “We are so pleased with the outcome of the event, we never imagined it would be possible to double the amount raised last year. We are truly overwhelmed with the support and generosity that we have received from the community. Without such fantastic auction and raffle donations we would not have been able to achieve such a phenomenal amount.

Beresfords is committed to supporting huge variety of charities and community groups, but we are especially proud to help Essex & Herts Air Ambulance as a vital service benefiting us all.”

Sabi Stafford, Essex Fundraising Manager for Essex & Herts Air Ambulance: “It was a truly amazing event, and it was such a privilege to be able to see the generosity of the public in action!

The support of Beresfords Group has been brilliant, and it’s always a pleasure to work with such passionate and philanthropic people, especially in such a beautiful venue!”
