On Saturday 10th May, thrill-seeking fundraisers from across the region came together at Beccles Airfield to take on the ultimate challenge — a tandem skydive from 13,000 feet — in support of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT).
The Big Jump, organised by our Corporate Partnerships Manager, Lyndsay, was a huge success, raising over an incredible £16,000 (and counting!) to help keep our critical care teams flying.
Braving the skies were first-time jumpers and seasoned supporters alike, each taking the plunge not only for the adrenaline rush, but to support a cause close to their hearts. Among the skydivers were friends and colleagues from local businesses, including Persimmon Essex, Utilize, and members of the EHAAT charity team, Glennis and Rimini.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took part, raised sponsorship, and supported the event — and a special thank you goes to UK Parachuting for hosting and helping make the day unforgettable.
The energy, excitement and community spirit on the day were sky-high — and we’re thrilled to announce that the next Big Jump is already in the diary for 9th May 2026. If you’re ready to take the leap for EHAAT, you can sign up now and be part of something extraordinary.
Thank you for helping us save lives, one jump at a time.
