Can you help ensure Air Ambulance fundraiser goes ahead?
Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT) is on the hunt for volunteers to help with its Summer Cycle Ride on Sunday July 1st.
The event, which will see cyclists tackle routes ranging from 3 miles to 80 miles to raise money for the life-saving Charity, starts and finishes at Welwyn Rugby Club.
Although it is keenly anticipated by cyclists across Hertfordshire and beyond, the organisers are struggling to find enough marshals this year.
Jen Wall, Volunteer and Events Lead at EHAAT said: “To make sure the event can go ahead safely, we desperately need to recruit more people willing to marshal the routes.
“These will take cyclists through Hatfield, St Albans, Hertford, Puckeridge and Buntingford. Without enough marshals we will have to cancel the event, which would be disappointing for us and the cyclists who want to take part.”
Anyone able to help marshal along the route is asked to call Essex & Herts Air Ambulance
