Another successful National Air Ambulance Week!
SHARE
At the beginning of September we celebrated National Air Ambulance Week, getting out in the community to spread awareness on the work of air ambulances across the UK.
Staff and volunteers took to supermarkets, shopping centres, boot sales and music festivals with buckets to collect donations, raising over £20,000!
We showed our support for Air Ambulances UK’s initiative, Golden Hour, where they asked supporters to donate an hour’s pay or proft, on Friday 13th September.
Long-term supporters, Yelo Taxis in Braintree, kicked the week off to a good start by donation £1,300!
The team at Bishop’s Stortford Fire Station stepped in to save the day by covering a last-minute collection.
A big thank you to all those who gave up their time, and to those that threw a few pounds in a bucket.
If you think you could spare a few hours next September to stand a ‘shake’ a bucket, get in touch here.
