Whether at an event, or visiting door-to-door, they’re eager to meet you and discuss why supporting our Lottery or joining out Regular Giving programme through monthly donations is so crucial to the existence of the charity.

Meet Our Canvassers
Our friendly canvassers are out and about in our communities, inviting people to join either our Flight For Life Lottery or our Regular Giving programme. They are at the heart of our fundraising. With each donation supporters are helping us to plan for the future to make important and sustainable choices for the benefit of our patients. If you see them at a venue, event or at your door please say ‘Hi’ – they are eager to chat with you about EHAAT and its life saving work.
Supporting EHAAT: Our Canvassers’ Vital Role
Each week, our canvassers cover different areas in Essex and Hertfordshire, working in venues and going door-to-door until 9pm.
We also promote our Regular Giving program alongside our lottery as another way to support EHAAT.
Please note, our canvassers only ask for sign-ups via Direct Debit and do not request cash upfront. They wear EHAAT-branded clothing and carry ID badges for identification.
If you receive a visit from a canvasser, please ask for ID. If unsure, call the Lottery Team at 0345 2417 690 for verification.
All canvassers representing EHAAT have undergone Dementia Training and adhere to our policies, ensuring no underage or vulnerable individuals are signed up.
